Can I park my RV in my driveway in Austin?

Short answer
Temporarily, yes — with limits.
The actual rule

Austin allows RVs in driveways for short periods (loading, trip prep), but long-term driveway storage of large RVs can violate nuisance and zoning rules, especially if it blocks sidewalks. HOAs very commonly ban visible RV parking.

What to do

  1. A few days for trip prep is fine; months is asking for a complaint.
  2. Never block the sidewalk — that's enforced quickly.
  3. Check your HOA first: this is one of the most common HOA violations.
  4. Consider off-site RV storage for long term.
