Austin has no citywide overnight street-parking ban. You can park on most residential streets overnight as long as you follow posted signs, don't block driveways or fire hydrants, and park in the direction of traffic.

What to do
Check for posted signs on your specific street — they override the general rule.
Park within 18 inches of the curb, in the direction of traffic.
Don't block driveways, crosswalks, or fire hydrants (15 ft clearance).
